This course is ideal for lunchtime supervisors, PE staff and staff who require a one-day (7 hours) course, with the sports related modules but don’t necessarily need to do the full Paediatric course.
Course Content
- Acting safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency
- Treating an unconscious breathing child & recovery position
- Choking
- Junior Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and safe use of a defibrillator
- Shock
- Minor Injuries and Bleeding
- Head injuries and Seizures
- Fractures and soft tissue injuries
- Asthma
- Allergies, anaphylaxis and safe use of an auto injector (Epi-pen)
